No complaints! Best fried oysters I’ve ever had. You can tell they’re fresh. Great value. Wife got a veggie wrap that was also great. Wonderful atmosphere, and our server Bethany was fantastic. Definitely will be back next time we’re on Ocracoke.
Food was great and a good amount for the price. Sitting by the bar area was a little crowded with people standing around but otherwise everything was great
Nice waterfront location, great service and delicious food. Calamari appetizer was tender, not rubbery. Clam chowder was really good. Grilled Ravage hit the spot with just enough heat. I normally don't do pasta salad as I don't like the overwhelming Italian dressing but there's is creamy with red bell pepper. We're on vacation but will definitely return before we leave. Thank you for enjoyable dinner!
Stayed the night on Ocracoke for our yearly trip to OBX. We typically go to another restaurant on the island but decided to try a new place. I am so glad we did! It was a beautiful day and we sat water side and enjoyed watching the pelicans and seagulls. Food was perfection as was the staff! Fries are frsh cut amd burgers are cooked to order. We even had the pleasure of seeing a boat come in that had been out on a fishing trip and watch them unload their catch. This may be our new place to eat when we are on the island!
Visited Ocracoke for the first time and chose SmacNally’s for lunch. We had a total of 8 guests, and we were seated immediately even though it seemed very busy. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and never left our drinks unfilled. My kiddos enjoyed the chicken tenders baskets which looked great. My husband chose the fried shrimp platter which was a heaping amount of food at an excellent price. I was very pleased with the tuna wrap with ginger sauce. Sounds like a crazy combination, but it was absolutely wonderful. Great atmosphere and great service!
Food was delicious, the service was awesome and the views were gorgeous! It's small so you may have to wait for a table. We chose to eat at the bar to forego a 15 minute wait.
The food was delicious. The French fries and pasta salad are definitely too tier. The staff are great and very attentive even during the busier times. Location is phenomenal right on the water in downtown OCRACOKE. Highly recommend!
This is our paradise in paradise. Smax is incredible. Perfect waterfront tables, great beer selection, very tasty food, and super attentive service. If you wanna to get a table, show up exactly at open (11am in our case). We saddled up at the bar and had some delicious passion fruit SUNBOY Spiked Coconut Waters (of course). We ate 2 helpings of the scallop ceviche special and it was insanely good.
